This term the 3-4 students and teachers have been so busy that we have forgotten to share some of the wonderful activities and learning we have done!
Before Melbourne Victory won the A-League Grand Final, they came to St. Anne’s to teach us some soccer skills. The students had a great time learning how to dribble the ball down the field and score goals.
All of the students in 3-4 had the opportunity to run in Cross Country. We are so proud of our students for putting in 100% to finish the race. There were a few casualties but it was great to see the amount of support and assistance the students showed towards one another clearly demonstrated the strong friendships they hold. Congratulations to Milla Haas and Logan Ross who won both their Cross Country events are now through to District Finals.
The students had the opportunity to work with The Travelling Kitchen and learn how to cook some delicious food. The students chopped and cooked up their very own dumplings, which they got to sample and take home with them. Thankfully there were no fingers chopped off. Thank you to all the parents who came and helped out! We couldn’t have done it without you.
In 3-4, there is so much to learn! We have been busy learning about measurement, multiplication, narratives, parable stories and how to reduce food wastage and lots lots more! We have created a wonderful year level recipe which we sold to the families in our school community. We raised over $900! It was a great effort by all of the students in 3-4.
