Fr. Joe visited the Year 3 and 4 students to talk to them about the Sacrament of Holy Communion. The Year 3 and 4 students asked Fr. Joe questions about the Eucharist, order of a mass and what it was like when he made his first Holy Communion.
In the coming weeks the Year 4 students will be participating in their first Holy Communion. We wish them all the best for their special day.
On Monday night the Year 4 students attended their first Eucharist Workshop with their parents. All the students participated with enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Mary Ryan facilitated the evening, taking the students on a fantastic story telling journey across the sea of Galilee. The students acted out the story of Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand and afterwards shared a meal of bread and fish with one another.
